(It’s official!) JENNYLYN MERCADO LEADING LADY NI DINGDONG SA ‘DESCENDANTS OF THE SUN’

MATAPOS ang mahabang espekulasyon, masasabi nang it is now official: gaganap ang Ultimate Star na si Jennylyn Mercado bilang Dr. Maxine Dela Cruz a.k.a. Beauty on GMA Network’s highly-anticipated remake of the hit Korean drama series “Descendants of the Sun.”

Mula noong ianunsiyo ng GMA network ang Philippine version, si Jennylyn na ang top choice ng Kapuso fans para sa most coveted role ni Beauty. Hindi mapigilan ni Jennylyn ang kanyang excitement sa magiging portrayal niya bilang si Beauty.

“Pinag-aralan kong mabuti ‘yung character niya. Kailangan dikit talaga ako kay Dr. Kang.”

Dr. Maxine is a skilled cardiothoracic surgeon. While often noticed for her pretty face, she is headstrong, principled, and most of all, willing to do everything in her power, even put herself at risk, for her patients.

Sa unang pagkakataon, makakatrabaho ni Jennylyn ang Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes bilang si alpha team leader Captain Lucas Manalo or ‘Big Boss’.

Kasama si Rocco Nacino bilang Diego Ramos or ‘Wolf’, Jasmine Curtis Smith bilang si Moira Defensor.

Kasama rin nila ang soldiers team na sina Lucho Ayala, Jon Lucas, Paul Salas, Prince Clemente, Ricardo Cepeda, and Antonio Aquitania.

Ang mga team ng mga doctor at nurses ay sina Andre Paras, Chariz Solomon, Nicole Donesa, Jenzel Angeles, Reese Tuazon, and Renz Fernandez.

Nariyan din sina Bobby Andrews, Neil Ryan Sese, Ian Ignacio, Rich Asuncion, Marina Benipayo, Hailey Mendes, at Roi Vinzon sa direksiyon naman ni Dominic Zapata.

Noong Agosto, pumirma ng partnership ang GMA Entertainment Group sa Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) to rightfully represent the country’s military forces for this very important flagship project of the Network.
