INAASAHANG makalilikha ang information technology and business process management(IT-BPM) sector ng may 1.1 milyong trabaho.

Ayon sa IT and Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP), ang paglikha ng trabaho ay kaugnay sa tinatayang growth rate ng sektor na 8.5%,na magreresulta sa kabuuang 2.5 million workforce.

Nasa 54% ng mga bagong trabaho ay sa kanayunan, kung saan umaasa ang industriya ng 3 million indirect jobs na malilikha sa retail, hospitality, infrastructure, at real estate.

Tinatayang kikita rin ang industriya ng $59 billion taon-taon pagsapit ng 2028.

“The growth of the industry is a goal that we must all work toward as a collective, even as external and internal factors shape the opportunity landscape,” wika ni IBPAP president and chief executive officer Jack Madrid.

Kinabibilangan, aniya, ito ng global economy, overall demand para sa IT-BPM services, pagpapatupad ng hybrid work models, infrastructure development, suplay ng skilled talent, at paborableng government policies.

“The Philippine IT-BPM sector is at the cusp of a new and exciting era, and the future that awaits us is the brightest that it has ever been,” dagdag ni Madrid.
