“Everybody struggled and adjusted in our first game last Saturday, but we performed better today [Sunday],” wika ni Maryhill College coach Joannes Rey Supnit.
“The players are excited because most of them are first timers to play here in Manila,” sabi Supnit, ilang minuto bago sila sumakay ng bus pabalik sa Lucena City nitong Linggo.
“It’s amazing to see the enthusiasm of these girls from the provincial teams,” ani PNVF president Ramon “Tats” Suzara. “The federation is inspired by their love of our sport.”
“Our setter [Losloso] played well both games despite the struggle and lack of sleep and rest,” sabi ni Supnit. “We’re very thankful to the support of Sister Rowena Labitigan [school official] and our coordinator Willie Pagsuyuin [team sponsor].”
