MEDIA, OFWs AT ESSENTIAL WORKERS PRIORITY SA VACCINE

APRUBADO na ng Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF MEID) na bakunahan ang nasa Priority Group A para sa National COVID-19 Vaccine Deployment Plan.

Sa pahayag ni  Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, sumang-ayon ang  IATF sa  listahan ng mga sektor na mapapasama sa A4 list sa ginanap na pulong noong Abril 15.

Kabilang sa  Priority Group A4 ang mga commuter transport (land, air, and sea), logistics; public and private wet and dry market vendors; frontline workers sa groceries, supermarkets, delivery services; manggagawa sa  manufacturing for food, beverage, medical at pharmaceutical products; frontline workers in food retail, including food service delivery; frontline workers sa pribado at  government financial services; gayundin ang frontline workers sa hotels and accommodation establishments.

Kasama rin ang mga taong simbahan gaya ng pari,  rabbis, imams, at mga religious leaders; security guards/ personnel na nakatalaga sa  offices, agencies, and organizations.

Kasama rin ang media at nagtatrabaho sa telecoms, cable and internet service providers, electricity distribution and water distribution utilities; frontline personnel in basic education and higher education institutions and agencies; at mga overseas Filipino worker.

Sa kasalukuyan ay ang nabigyan pa lamang ng first dose ng bakuna ay ang mga kabilang sa A1 o mga frontline health services, A2 o  senior citizens at ang A3 na kinabibilangan naman ng mga indibidwal  na may commorbidities. EVELYN QUIROZ
