MEDIA SA WATCHLIST NG PDEA (Bina-validate para sa case build up)

NILINAW ni Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) na base sa hawak nilang intelligence report ang pagkakadawit ng mga kasapi ng media at celebrities sa narcolist.

Subalit mabilis din nilinaw ni Usec Derrick Carreon na: “as far as PDEA is concerned all personalities who are in our watchlist are subject for validation and case build-up.”

Malinaw naman umano na ang intelligence report ay mga raw information na kailangan na sumailalim sa validation at re-validation para maging factual at maaring magamit sa case build-up.

“Intelligence does not qualify as evidence in criminal proceedings so we need to conduct continuing validation, re-validation and case build up po.” This is a long and tedious process requiring plenty of man hours on the ground and actual leg work in validating the raw reports that are submitted to us and other law enforcement and intelligence agencies po,” paliwanag pa ni Carreon.

Una rito, inihayag ni PDEA Director General Aaron Aquino na ilang miyembro ng media at mga artista ay kabilang sa may 20,000 katao na nasa kanilang drug watchlist.

Subalit nabatid na hindi pa maaring kasuhan ang mga ito hanggat hindi ganap na sumailalim sila sa validation at re-validation ng intelligence network ng PNP AFP at NICA at maging mga ahente ng PDEA para sa case build up bago ang pormal na pagsasampa.

“. But as far as I remember our priorities are high value targets especially the leaders and members of drug groups po. Sila ang inuuna sa validation and re-validation dahil sila ang directly involved sa illegal drug trade,” ani Carreon.

So assuming for the sake of discussion that a media  personalities were reported as “receiving payola or protection money from drug syndicates so that they will not expose or report about them”, then this would categorize them as protectors or coddlers.”

“This is just an example po. But usually people in this capacity are involved by being paid off not to do their mandate and do the exact opposite. Same is true with the judges and prosecutors who were mentioned to be in the watchlist po.”

Well sir I am not directly involved in the actual intelligence process of validation and re validation and neither am I privy to the actual lists and the prioritization of targets for negation. But as far as I remember our priorities are high value targets especially the leaders and members of drug groups po. Sila ang inuuna sa validation and re-validation dahil sila ang directly involved sa illegal drug trade.

Magugunitang nagbabala si Aquino na tataas pa ang bilang ng mga personalidad na kinabibilangan ng mga hukom, artista, piskal at politikong nasa hawak nilang watchlist kaugnay sa ilegal na droga.

Ito ay dahil tuloy-tuloy ang ginagawa nilang validation  at bineberipika ang kaugnayan ng nasa 13 judges, 31 celebrities at 10 piskal na nasa watchlist.

Aminado si Aquino na napakahirap mag-validate dahil sa kalalabas na listahan ng 46 narco-politicians ay inabot sila ng mahigit isang taon sa beripikasyon ng mga intelligence information.

Nabanggit din ni Aquino na ilan sa mga artistang nasa watchlist ay karaniwang guma­gamit ng cocaine at hindi aakalaing drug addict kung pagbabasehan  ang kanilang imahe sa te­lebisyon.

Ang mga hukom naman  ay mga nagbabasura ng  drug cases kaya halos walang umuusad na kasong kanilang isinasampa sa korte. VERLINRUIZ
