ITINANGGI ni Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque na  pinabayaan ng pamahalaan ang Mindanao pagdating sa COVID-19 vaccination program.

Sa panayam kay Roque, sinabi ng kalihim na dahil sa pagbaba ng compliance o hindi pagsunod sa mahigpit na health protocols ang dahilan ng surge o pagsipa ng kaso ng COVID 19 sa Mindanao.

Ayon kay Roque, isa pa rin sa mga dahilan ng bilang  ng COVID-19 cases at sa kawalan ng deklarasyon ng quarantine classification na ECQ at MECQ.

“Mayroon pong mga datos na nagpapakita na kaya din nag-surge po sa ilang parte ng Pilipinas – sa Visayas and Mindanao – eh kasi hindi nag-ECQ, hindi nag-MECQ. At talagang bumaba po ang compliance with the minimum health protocols,” giit ni Roque.

Paliwanag ni Roque, ang mga bakuna na ipinapadala sa mga lugar ay depende sa pangangailangan at taas ng kaso rito.

Nataon lang aniya na unang tumaas ang kaso ng COVID 19 sa NCR plus.

Pero ngayong tumataas na rin ang kaso ng COVID 19 sa labas ng NCR plus ay magpapadala na sila ng bakuna sa malalayong lugar.

Matatandaan na binatikos ni Deputy Speaker Rufus Rodriguez si vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr. at mga opisyal ng Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases dahil sa pagpapabaya umano ng mga ito sa Mindanao.

Sa hearing ng committee on Mindanao affairs on the COVID-19, sinabi ni Rodriguez na hindi siya sinasagot ni Galvez sa kanyang request ng dagdag na bakuna sa Mindanao.

Dahil dito, hindi umano natutugunan ang tumataas na kaso ng COVID 19 sa rehiyon. EVELYN QUIROZ
