NALULUNGKOT at nakikisimpatiya si Angel Locsin sa dinaranas na kalbaryo ng ating mga kababayan lalo na ng frontliners na nagbubuwis ng buhay sa pagtupad sa kanilang tungkulin sa kasagsagan ng COVID19 pandemic.

Ilang doctor at medical personnel na in close contact sa kanilang mga pasyente na kasi ang sumakabilang-buhay dahil nahawa ng nasabing virus.

Dagdag pa rito, sobrang overworked din kasi, stressed at pagod ang ating mga health workers.

Kaya naman sa kanyang shoutout, umapela siya na tulungan ang ating unsung heroes.

Pero sa halip na pera ang kanyang hingin, hiniling niyang items tulad ng beddings, pillows at mattresses na magagamit ng medical frontliners ang kanilang i-donate.

Batid daw kasi niyang mahirap ang buhay dahil marami ring apektado at nawalan ng trabaho bunsod ng krisis sa bansa.

“Neil Arce and I understand that life is hard right now, so we’ll refrain from asking you for financial donations. Instead, we would like to ask you for stuff that you already have. We, with the assistance and recommendation of the local government, are setting up sleeping tents within hospital premises for our health workers in the frontlines so they don’t have to worry about where to stay & transportation,” aniya. “To my friends in the industry,

maybe you can spare your taping beds for our health workers? Also, to everyone reading this, if you have available folding beds that we could borrow, we would greatly appreciate it… We acknowledge that this is a challenging time for everyone, but we also know that we, Filipinos, are strong & resilient, especially when united,” dugtong niya.

Nagpapasalamat naman siya kina Bea Alonzo, Angelica Panganiban at Anne Curtis na agad rumesponde sa kanyang panawagan at nag-donate ng kanilang higaan na ginagamit sa tapings.
