PINALAWIG pa ng isang taon ng Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) ang Provisional Authority (PA) ng mga Truck-for-Hire (TH) na napapailalim at hindi napapailalim sa Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA).

Ito’y upang magtuloy-tuloy at walang maging abala ang serbisyong hatid ng mga TH sa gitna ng nararanasang pandemya sa bansa.

Batay sa Board Resolution No. 33 s. 2021, palalawigin ang PA ng mga TH ng 365 araw o isang taon mula sa petsa na inisyu ang PA.

Ayon sa LTFRB, kinikilala nila ang malaking gampanin ng mga TH sa pagdadala ng essential goods tulad ng pagkain, medisina, at iba pang basic commodities sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng bansa.

Bukod pa rito, iniiwasan ng ahensiya ang posibleng aberyang maidudulot ng mga kanseladong hearings mula Marso 16, 2020 hanggang Nobyembre 30, 2022 at application scheduling ng PA at Certificate of Public Convenience (CPC).
