Ayon kay Doc Marvin Rocafort ng El Campeon Conditioning Camp, importante na may hapunan o roost ang ating mga panlabang manok kasi mamamatay sila kapag bumuhos ang malakas na ulan at nasa lupa lamang sila.

Para kay Doc Marvin, ang mga Pilipino na ang pinakamagaling mag-alaga ng manok panabong kasi alagang-alaga talaga, kaya naman kapag inilaban at natalo talaga namang masakit at lungkot na lungkot pa.

“Sa una lang naman masakit at habang tumatagal ay pasakit nang pasakit kaya ang gamot ay lumalaban uli para makabawi. Ang lumalaban/may entry lamang ang may pag-asang manalo! Kaya kong tanggapin na talo ang manok ko kasi iyon naman ang una kong natutunan pero ang hindi ko kaya ay ang mag-alaga ng manok na hindi ko kursunada!” sabi pa niya.

“Hindi bale nang hindi mapalaban ang manok kaysa napalaban pero natalo naman!” pagtatapos niya.
