KAKATAWANIN ng Philippine Youth Rowing Society (PYROS) ang bansa sa 2023 Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Races na nakatakda sa June 24-25.
Ang PYROS ay isa sa dalawang koponan mula sa Pilipinas na lalahok sa event.
Ang IDBR ang unang international sports event na magkatuwang na inorganisa ng Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) at ng Hong Kong China Dragon Boat Association (HKCDBA) magmula nang ibalik ang pagbiyahe sa lungsod.
“We always take great pride and honor to be representing the country whenever we race overseas,” pahayag ng PYROS organization.
“This fuels our motivation to do well in training in hopes of bringing our very best in every heat,” ayon sa koponan.
“Since the hiatus, the team has been on the lookout for when and where we will race again. We are happy to be able to participate and be able to do again what we love best.”
Sisimulan ng IDBR ang summer season na may 160 koponan na may 4,000 dragon boat athletes na lalahok sa mga event sa Victoria Harbour.
