“It is concerning that almost a year after the implementing rules and regulations were signed, the DILG has yet to issue the necessary guidelines for the distribution of the P1,000 additional benefit to solo parents. This is a long-overdue measure that should have been implemented already,” dismayadong pahayag ni Brosas.
“It is the right of solo parents to receive this subsidy from the government, especially during these difficult times. The amount may seem small, but it can make a significant difference in the lives of solo parents who are struggling to make ends meet,” pagbibigay-diin ng Gabriela Women’s Party lawmaker.
“We urge the DILG to prioritize the issuance of the memo and ensure that solo parents receive the support they rightfully deserve. We will continue to monitor this matter and push for the immediate implementation of the P1,000 subsidy for solo parents,” sabi pa ng kongresista na kasapi ng Makabayan bloc sa Kamara.
