DADALHIN ng DTI-CITEM ang pinakamalaking food delegation sa Anuga 2019.
Nakatakdang ipakita ng One Town, One Product section ang mga ipinagmamalaking pagkain sa buong bansa.
Nasa 36 na Philippine food producers at manufacturers ang nakahanda para sa demand ng pandaigdigang merkado ang pina-kahihintay na pagbabalik, Allgemeine Nahrungs- und Genussmittel-Ausstellung, kilala rin bilang Anuga, na nagsimula noong Oktubre 5 hanggang Oktubre 9 na matatagpuan sa Hall 01.1 (D-040g to E-049g) sa Koelnmesse sa Cologne, Germany.
Ginaganap tuwing ikalawang taon, ang Anuga ang pinakamalaki at pinakaimportanteng food and beverage fair na naghahandog ng 10 specialized trade shows under one roof, at ipinakikita ang iba’t ibang produkto na pagpipilian sa global food industry. Halos aabot sa 165,000 trade visitors mula sa 198 bansa.
Nakapokus ang delegasyon ng bansa sa kakaibang lasa at creative applications ng ‘Premium 7’ export products ng bansa tulad ng banana, cacao, coconut, coffee, mango, pineapple at tuna.
Dadalhin din ng delegasyon ngayong taon ang salmon, sardines, oriental noodles, shrimp, gluten-free pasta, confectionaries at baking ingredients, fruit beverages, at iba’t ibang klase ng sauces, spices at panimpla.
Ang delegasyon ay pinangungunahan ni Abdulgani Macatoman, Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Undersecretary for Special Concerns and Trade Promotions Group, at ng Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions, sa pakikipag-ugnayan sa Philippine Trade and Investment Center (PTIC) sa Berlin.

“This is the Philippines’ biggest delegation yet in our years of participating in ANUGA,” sabi ni Macatoman.
“Initially, we were expecting to have only 31 exhibitors but our roster composed of food manufacturers and homegrown producers blew up to 36.
“This just shows the abundance and the sheer growth of the country’s food sector with many of our local firms are looking to leverage on the increasing food demand in the global market and what better way to do that than to be at the world’s biggest food show,” paliwanag ni Macatoman.
Labing-siyam na food manufacturers na kasali sa ilalim ng Food Philippines pavilion na magpapakita ng kanilang produkto sa kanilang booth. Ito ay ang Alliance Select Foods International, Inc., Amley Food Corporation, Celebes Canning Corporation, Century Pacific Food, Inc., Eau de Coco, Inc., Fitrite, Inc, Green Enviro Management Systems, Inc., GSL Premium Food Export Corp, Mega Global Corporation, Oleo-fats, Incorporated, Phil. Grocers Food Exports, Inc., Phil-Union Frozen Foods, Inc., Profood International Corporation, Q-Phil Products International, Sagrex Foods, Inc., Seatrade Canning Corporation, See’s International Food Mfg. Corp, Super Q and Superstar Coconut Products Co.
Samantala, ang OTOP section ay magtitipon ng 17 local micro-small-and medium-enterprises (MSMEs) sa pangunguna ni Demphna Du-Naga, DTI Assistant Secretary for Regional Operations Group. Ang OTOP ay magtatampok ng mga produkto at pangunahing pagkain mula sa iba’t ibang rehiyon at komunidad mula sa buong Filipinas.
Ang mga kompanyang lokal sa ilalim ng OTOP section ay ang Ahya Coco Organic Food Manufacturing Corp, B-G Fruits and Nuts Manufacturing Corporation, Baker’s Field Enterprises, Business Innovations Gateway Incorporated, Mira’s Turmeric Products, Cocoplus Aquarian Development Corporation, Edna and Rebecca’s Banana Chips & Coated Peanut, Filbake Food Corporation, Gees Agri Coco Products Corporation, Ilocos Food Products, Island’s Best Foods, Jedidiah Food Industry, Makiling Organics, Mango King Food Products, Pasciolco Agri Ventures, Philippine Moringa and More Corporation, at Raw Brown Sugar Milling Company, Inc.
Ang partisipasyong ito sa ilalim ng FoodPhilippines ay sa pakikipag-partner ng DTI-CITEM sa PTIC office sa Berlin, OTOP Philippines and Foreign Trade Services Corps (FTSC) bilang bahagi ng pinag-isang gawain ng gobyerno para itaguyod ang Filipinas bilang source ng dekalidad na produkto ng pagkain sa pandaigdigang merkado.
