NAGSANIB puwersa ang Parañaque City government at ang mobile wallet platform PayMaya para sa digital payment ng kanilang kliyente bilang bahagi ng e-governance sa ilalim ng new normal.
Ito ang nakapaloob sa nilagdaang memorandum of agreement noong Miyerkoles sa pagitan nina Mayor Edwin Olivarez at ilang top official ng PayMaya para sa official transactions at services ng nasabing lungsod.
“We are proud to be pioneering e-government services in the city as part of our strategic initiatives in this community quarantine amid coronavirus pandemic. We want to sustain the momentum in using modern technologies in our processes and services as we adopt to the new digital normal,” pahayag ni Olivarez.
Nakasaad sa agreement ng PayMaya, gagamit ang mga customer ng digitally-enabled payment platform para sa serbisyo ng local government services.
Ayon kay Atty. Melanie Soriano-Malaya, hepe ng Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO), kabilang sa serbisyo ng Paranaque LGU ay ang digital payment sa traffic violation fees, real property, business taxes, health, at iba pa.
At sa pamamagitan ng web browser or mobile-based application, mapapadali na ang pagbabayad ng personal or business transactions kahit hindi na pumunta sa City hall. MARIVIC FERNANDEZ
