Sa ilalim ng Alert Level 4, ang outdoor o al fresco dining services sa restaurants at eateries ay papayagang mag-operate sa maximum na 30% venue/seating capacity bakunado man o hindi.
Ang indoor dining o dine-in services ay maaari namang payagan sa limitadong 10% venue/seating capacity subalit para lamang sa mga bakunado o fully vaccinated laban sa COVID-19.
Ang parehong capacity limitations ay ipatutupad sa personal care services tulad ng beauty salons at barber-shops.
Sa isang televised Palace briefing, sinabi ni Lopez na ang desisyon na payagan ang restaurants at personal care services na mag-operate bagama’t sa limitadong kapasidad ay bilang pagsasaalang-alang sa dami ng mga mang-gagawa na naapektuhan ng mahabang strict quarantine measures sa Metro Manila.
Ayon sa kalihim, may 2.4 million workers sa restaurants at personal care industries, kalahati nito ay nasa Metro Manila.
“Ang revenue per week po sa estimate po ng mga industriya P1.5 billion per week. Applying 12% of that mga P180 million per week ang hopefully maibalik, not much but at least meron na pong makapag-restart on this sectors,” ani Lopez.
“That is really why we prioritized gradual reopening of labor-intensive industries,” aniya.
Idinagdag pa ng trade chief na nasa 150,000 hanggang 200,000 manggagawa ang inaasahang magbabalik sa trabaho sa sandaling ipatupad ang Alert Level 4 status sa Metro Manila.
