NADINE LUSTRE TATLO AGAD ANG LEADING MEN NA IPINALIT KAY JAMES

THE storycon of a movie to be headlined by Nadine Lustre was recently and Irene Villamor is going tosizzling bits direct the movie. She was the one who also wrote the script as early as 2005 but she had it revised to fit these days’ headlines.

Anyway, she has the tall and virile Xian Lim as leading man, along with Marco Gumabao, and the masculine AJ Muhlach.

Incidentally, the title of their forthcoming movie is Ulan.

Anyhow, when asked what her role would be, Nadine refused to go into details for fear that she would be able to divulge the most intimate details of the story.

“This is my first time to work with Xian Lim and Marco Gumabao.

Actually, itong project na ito, last year pa kami nag-meet.

‘Yung story talaga, gustong-gusto ko siya. It’s more on self-love kasi. I’m a huge advocate of self-love.”

Sa sinabi ng ilan na baka maka-experience daw siya ng separation anxiety dahil for the first time, she won’t be having her real life boyfriend James Reid as leading man, she said this is not the case.

“Hindi naman. It’s healthy to be able to work separately so we can both grow together and then, at the same time, grow separately.

JAY SONZAVETERAN broadcaster Jay Sonza bitingly stated that most “bagong sibol” news reporters are devoid of breeding, ill-mannered and seemed not to be aware of the prevailing hot issues. Ed Lingao and Joel Zobel openly reacted.

Sa mga binanggit na reporter ni Kuyang Jay, Ed Lingao retaliated by way of calling him as a “veteran microphone-user.”

“Your forte, HIJO, is talk show and public service. Ok naman ‘yun e. Pero stop pretending to be what you are not,” fired back Mr. Lingao. “Many of the bagito reporters you named have much more experience in real journalism than you ever had in all your years broadcasting—because broadcasting, HIJO, is not the same as journalism.

Yes, there are many points of convergence, and there are so many excellent broadcast journalists (sorry you don’t make the cut at all), but not all broadcasters are journalists in the same way that not all journalists are broadcasters.

Unfortunately, even award-giving bodies tend to conflate them too, as we see in your case.

Sarkastikong idinagdag pa nitong siguro raw, one day, the journo wannabees he is calling would become a veteran journalist just like Kuyang Jay. “After all,” Mr. Lingao went on, “kilalang kilala ka po sa maliit na industriya natin dahil sa iyong breeding, modo (oh have you forgotten that your cringe-worthy FB rants are all public?), at higit sa lahat, sa LALIM ng iyong PAG-IISIP at PANANALIKSIK at PAG-AARAL sa mga issue.”

Si Joel Reyes Zobel naman, on the other hand, considers Kuya Jay’s tearing comments as merely nothing but constructive criticism.

“Perhaps my game slipped by some level,” he averred. “If so, it is an opportunity to revisit my fundamentals and practice to perfection.

Critics serve a purpose. The moment you stop thinking they serve a purpose is the moment you begin to think you are larger than you really are.

Sabi nga ng misis ko, ‘good news yan. Nakikinig at nanonood pala sa iyo si Jay Sonza?’

I always thank God for critics like Jay Sonza.

They make me and my work relevant.”

And with that, ito po ang Kuya Pete ninyo na nagsasabing, Christopher, my son, I love you very, very much, my love for you goes beyond eternity.

Adios. Mabalos. I always need you, Nhong!
