Naging bayani ng Road Warriors si import Arnett Moultrie na tumapos na may double-double 37 points 17 rebounds, at walong assists upang tanghaling ‘best player of the game’.
“Finally, we made it to the win column. They really worked hard and doubled their efforts to win. I congratulate them for a job well done,” sabi ni coach Yeng Guiao.
“Of course, I give credit to Arnett. He played remarkably. He was all over the court piling up points and controlled the board,” pahayag pa ni Guaio patungkol sa kanyang import.
Inako nina Mallari at Fonacier ang scoring mula kay ace gunner Kiefier Ravena na umiskor lamang ng tatlo sa last quarter at bokya sa overtime.
Dinomina ng NLEX ang laro kung saan lumamang ito 15 points, 61-45, papasok sa third period. Subalit biglang nanlamig ang Road Warriors at nakahabol ang Phoenix, 82-84, at naitabla ang talaan sa 84-all sa tira ni James White.
Abante ang NLEX, 102-93, ngunit rumesbak ang Phoenix upang ipuwersa ang overtime, 104-104.
