NANAWAGAN kahapon si Trade Secretary Ramon Lopez sa publiko na huwag magpanicbuying dahil may sapat na suplay ng essential goods sa week-long enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) sa Metro Manila at mga kalapit na lugar.
“Paalala lang, huwag mag-alala, huwag mag-panic buying. Maraming food supply, maraming imbentaryo. Kahit noong first time tayo nag-ECQ, walang shortage ng necessities and prime commodities natin,” wika ni Lopez sa isang panayam sa radyo.
Tiniyak din ni Lopez sa publiko na tuloy-tuloy ang cargo at logistics sa pagpapatupad ng ECQ.
Samantala, pinaalalahanan ni Lopez ang essential industries na sumunod sa istriktong health protocols upang makontrol ang pagtaas ng kaso ng COVID-19 infections sa mga komunidad.
Ang Metro Manila, Bulacan, Rizal, Cavite at Laguna ay balik-ECQ simula ngayong araw hanggang sa Abril 4.
Nangangahulugan ito na limitado lamang ang mga industriyang papayagang magbukas at essential travel lamang ang pahihintulutan.
