(Target ng Czech Republic) INVESTMENTS, DEFENSE DEALS SA PINAS

MAGPAPADALA ang Czech Republic ng isang trade mission sa Pilipinas para palakasin ang investments at defense cooperation sa pagitan ng dalawang bansa.

Ayon kay Ambassador Karel Hejč, may nakikitang oportunidad ang Czech Republic sa Pilipinas at kailangan lamang nilang samantalahin ang mga ito.

Aniya, kinabibilangan ito ng posibleng partnership sa defense and security, gayundin sa iba pang investments.

Dagdag pa niya, maaari ring bumisita sa bansa sa 2024 ang ilang opisyal at negosyante mula sa European nation.

“I’m pleased to mention that just in the next year, we will start here with the visit of the foreign committee of our parliament on so much important defense and security issues of the regional geopolitics,” pahayag ni Hejč kay Presidente Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. sa Malacañang sa kanyang credentials presentation noong Martes.

“But later on in the year, we plan on bringing our minister of agriculture to Manila and to the Philippines… our ministers travel accompanied with business delegations. So, carefully selected companies that are interested in doing business with the Philippines, with the Filipino companies, and investing in Philippines,” aniya.

Sinabi pa niya na ang defense manufacturing sector ang flagship industry ng Czech Republic, kung saan gumagawa ito ng fighter jets, airplanes at iba pang equipment.

Hanggang December 2022, tinatayang may 4,864 Pinoy sa Czech Republic.

Karamihan sa kanila ay nagtatrabaho sa processing industry, automotive industry, repairs of appliances, manufacturing, IT communications, real estate, health, wellness, at household service.
