PORMAL nang inendorso ng Maunlad na Pilipinas Movement (MPM) si dating Senador Bongbong Marcos para sa pagka-pangulo sa darating na halalan sa 2022.

Ang resolusyon ukol sa pag-endorso  ay pormal na ipinaabot kay Marcos sa isang pagtitipon ng mga lider ng grupo sa zoom nitong Setyembre 18, 2021.

Lubos na nagpasalamat si Marcos sa buong suporta at tiwala ng MPM sa kanya at kasabay ng kanyang pagbati sa unang anibersaryo ng Kilusan.

Ang resolusyon ay inihain ng isa sa kanilang bise-presidente ng grupo na si Lylani Galvadores na sinang-ayunan naman ng lahat ng opisyal at coordinators sa pangu­nguna nina Ferdie Pasion at Marcial Laristan mula sa hanay ng PWD Sector.

Napagdesisyunan  ng MPM na suportahan si Marcos matapos nilang mapag-aralan ang kanyang kwalipikasyon at maging ang kanyang mahusay na track record at agenda para sa lipunan.

Sinabi ng tagapagtatag ng grupo at tagapa­ngulo ng MPM na si Gary Dela Paz na maging karamihan sa kanilang volunteer coordinators ay hindi mga tradisyonal na pro-Marcos.

Sa katunayan aniya ang isa sa kanilang provincial coordinator sa Camarines Sur ay dating tauhan ng yumaong kalihim ng DILG na si Jesse Robredo.

Sa kabuuan, ang MPM ay may 225,000 na pawang hindi tradisyonal na pro-Marcos at may 93 chapters at patuloy na nadaragdagan ng mga bo­luntaryong indibidwal at mga grupo mula sa ibat-ibang sektor na nakikiisa sa layunin ng MPM para isulong na maging pa­ngulo si Marcos. BENEDICT ABAYGAR, JR.
