Sa master’s bedroom naman matutulog ang mag-asawa. Sa living room, pwedeng sofa bed ang gamitin, para pag may bisita, may matutulugan. Sa kitchen/dining room naman, pwedeng gumamit ng folding table na ititikom pagkatapos gamitin. Syempre, isa lang ang banyo at toilet.

Kung maliit ang bahay mo, dapat, minimalist ka at well-organized. Pero kailangan mo pa rin ang ilang clever tricks. Halimbawa, sa kitchen, kaila­ngang maraming hanging cabinets na siyang lalagyan ng lahat ng panga­ngailangan sa pagluluto at magsisilbi na ring platera (lalagyan ng plato, baso at iba pa.)

Sa banyo, may mga hanging cabinets din na lalagyan ng mga tuwalya, shampoo, sabon, lotion at kung anu-ano pa.

Sa silid ng mga bata, gawing pull-cabinets ang ilalim ng kama. Apat na drawers bawat ilalim ng kama para walang masa­yang na space.  Ang pagitan naman ng mga kama ay pwedeng gawing study nook. Lagyan ng bintana para matipid sa ilaw kung araw, at lagyan din ng hanging cabinets na lalagyan naman ng mga libro, school bags at iba pang kagamitan sa pag-aaral. Lagyan din ng built-in cabinets ang natitira pang space para sa mga damit na kailangang ilagay sa hanger.

Sa halip na dingding, hatiin ang bahay gamit ang mga room dividers na pwedeng tiklupin kung kinakailangan ang malaki-laking space. Nagbibigay ito ng privacy kahit paano. Pwede ring gumamit ng glass panels.

Ngayon, saan mo ilalagay ang washing machine at microwave oven? Simple lang. Syempre, kailangan ninyo ng sink. Ilagay ang washing machine sa ilalim ng sink, at ang microwave oven naman ay sa built-in hanging cabinet. Itago ang iba pang kitchen gadgets sa mga built-in cabinets at ilabas lamang kung kailangan.

Sa pintura naman, su­bukan ninyo ang puti para mukhang malaki at maliwanag ang bahay ninyo. Gamitin ang lahat ng space bilang storage kahit pa ang ilalim ng sofa o mesa. Kung marami kayong libro at wala kayong lalagyan, hanging corner shelf ang sagot diyan. Gamitin ang lahat ng space na makikita ninyo.

Kung sa sobrag liit ng bahay ninyo ay wala kayong dining room, gamitin ang bintana. Lagyan ng foldable table, at buksan lamang ito kapag kakain. Syempre, isara pag tapos nang kumain.

Pros and Cons ng pagtira sa Tiny House

Unahin natin ang pros. Una, malaki ang matitipid, at maliit din ang commitment sa mortgage. Magagawa mo ang gusto mo sa bahay mo – pwede pa ngang ikaw minsmo ang mag-design. Sa cons naman, masikip, syempre at konti lang ang privacy.
