NANGAKO ang Manila Electric Company (Meralco) na ipagpapatuloy ang malakas at epektibong pakikipagtulungan nito sa Philippine National Police (PNP) Regional Office 4A (CALABARZON). Ito ay binanggit matapos ang flag raising ceremony na ginanap noong Pebrero 12, 2024 sa PNP Regional Headquarters sa Calamba City, Laguna.
Binigyang-diin ni Meralco Vice President and Head of Revenue Assurance and Metering Services Marvin G. Gonsalves, ang Guest of Honor and Speaker ng seremonya, kung paano nakatulong ang partnership sa pagtiyak sa kaligtasan ng publiko sa pamamagitan ng epektibong pagpapatupad ng Anti-Pilferage of Electricity and Theft of Electric Transmission Lines/Materials Act of 1994.
“Through the partnership that has lasted for decades, the PNP has made a significant contribution to combating theft of electricity which has resulted in a significant reduction in our system loss that in turn, benefits the consuming public,” pahayag ni Gonsalves sa kanyang talumpati.

Sa loob ng maraming taon ay tinitiyak ng Meralco ang katatagan ng koryente sa headquarters, camps, stations, at precincts ng police forces sa franchise area.
