NAGPASALAMAT si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa papel na ginagampanan ng Federation of the Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc., sa pagpo-promote ng economic, cultural, at people – to people exchanges sa pagitan ng China at Filipinas.
Sa pagdiriwang kahapon ng ika-46 na anibersaryo ng relasyon ng Filipinas at China, at ang ika-20 taon ng Filipino-Chinese Friendship Day, sinabi ng Pangulong Duterte na sinisimbulo ng selebrasyon ang malalim at pangmatagalang pagkakaibigan ng dalawang bansa.
Isang samahan aniya na nagsimula pa ilang siglo na ang nakararaan.
“Today’s celebration reminds us of the deep and abiding friendship between the Filipino and Chinese people. It is a bond that predates by centuries. The formal establishment of diplomatic relations 46 years ago,” pahayag ni Pangulong Duterte.
Habang nalalapit aniya ang ika-50 anibersaryo ng diplomatic relations ng China at Filipinas, ang win-win cooperation ng dalawang bansa ay lalo pang nakapagpapalakas sa higit na kapayapaan, progreso at pag- unlad. EVELYN QUIROZ
