ANG ENGINE BRAKE

​Let’s say na nasa 4th gear ka na nasa tuling 40kph, tapos gusto mong bumagal, either bitiwan mo ‘yung gas tapos magpreno, or mag-down shift ka, halimbawa sa gear na ‘di lalampas sa 40kph ‘yung sasakyan, say sa 2nd gear kung kailangan para ‘yung transmission ay hindi mapunta sa 40kph karaka-raka.  Ang tawag sa ganitong pagkontrol ng preno ay ENGINE BRAKE. ​Sa paraan ng engine brake, hahayaan mo na ‘yung gear box ang tumulong para tumagal kaysa naka-neutral ka na wala kang gear na para kang tumatakbo ng downhill.

BAD HABIT ANG CLUTCH RIDER
