Ang koponan na gagabayan ni Pat Aquino ay sasabak sa naturang torneo sa September 27 -October 3 sa Amman, Jordan.
Mapapalaban ang Gilas Women, na nasa Division A, sa China, Chinese-Taipei, India, Japan, Korea, at New Zealand.
May 12 players ang inimbitahan sa bubble training camp, walo sa kanila ay bahagi ng koponan na nagwagi ng gold medal sa 2019 Southeast Asian Games na ginanap sa Manila: Afril Bernardino, Chuck Cabinbin, Khate Castillo, Clare Castro, Ria Nabalan, Janine Pontejos, Mar Prado, at Andrea Tongco.
Makakasama nila sina Ella Fajardo, Karl Pingol, Kristine Cayabyab, at Camille Clarin.
Ito ang debut ng 18-anyos na si Fajardo sa Gilas Women makaraang katawanin ang bansa sa FIBA 3×3 events.
Inaasahang hindi makapaglalaro sa FIBA Women’s Asia Cup si SEA Games veteran Jack Animam, na maglalaro ng professional basketball sa Serbia.
