NAKOPO ng Sharpeedo YMCA Elite Manila ang team championship sa katatapos na 19th Swim League Philippines (SLP) Series-1st Leg Novice Cup nitong weekend sa Philippine Columbian Association (PCA) Sports Club Swimming Pool sa Plaza Dilao, Paco, Manila.
Nakamit naman ng Quezon Killer Whale Swimming Team ang first runner-up honor kasunod ang Coach King Swimming Supremos, at nakumpleto ang top 6 ng Mahalta Swim Club of Oriental Mindoro, Batangas Killer Whale Swim Club, Parañaque Killer Whale Swim Team at Beta Caloocan Swimming Team.
Ang torneo ay bahagi ng grassroots sports program ng SLP na pinamumunuan ni Joan Mojdeh, katuwang ang marketing chief na si Fred Galang.
Itinanghal na Most Outstanding Swimmers (Novice) sina Angelica Christelle Briones at John Rosales Dorer (6 years old and under); Adriene Audrey Caoagdan at Kali Ramos (7-8); Gwen Eliz Luarca at Matt Zyrus Ramirez (9-10); Pauline Asejo at Louis Andrei Lim (11-12); Marielle Martinie Rima, Cassandra Aranas at Jason Vasquez(13-14); Khatlene Kate Hermosa at Wyatt Daniel Ramirez (15-16); Najia Elmejrab at Elijah Gelo Asejo (17-over).
Nangibabaw naman bilang Most Outstanding Swimmer awardees sa Class AB sina Drei Mabilin (6-under); Kylee Magtangob at Tristan Reyes (7-8); Sophia Rose Garra at Maico Enecillo (9-10);
Arriana Carandang at Aishel Cid Evangelista (11-12); Jhoey Leila Gallardo at Ashby Jayce Canlas (13-14); Amina Mondonedo at Peter Dean (15-16); Bela Louise Magtibay at Jules Mirandilla (17-over).
